Our Facilities Management and Housekeeping teams are dedicated to providing services that support independence while ensuring a high standard of living.

Our Facilities Management team is committed to maintaining the functionality and safety of your living environment. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Regular inspections and repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
  • Emergency Repairs: Prompt response to urgent issues, such as leaks, heating problems, or safety hazards.
  • Routine Checks: Regular testing of smoke detectors, lighting, door locks, and other safety equipment.
  • Heating System Maintenance: Boilers, furnaces, and HVAC systems are inspected and serviced to keep your home warm and running efficiently.
  • Fire Safety Systems: Regular testing and maintenance of fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and emergency lighting to meet provincial and national safety codes.
  • Fire Avert Technology: Automatic stove shut-off devices are installed in Apartment units to prevent smoke and fire damage.
  • Capital Projects: Coordination of larger upgrades, renovations, and system replacements to enhance comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.
  • Snow and Ice Removal: Walkways, entrances, and parking lots are regularly cleared to minimize slipping hazards and ensure safe access during Alberta winters.
  • Report Issues Promptly: Contact your building office directly if you notice maintenance, heating, or safety concerns.
  • Maintain Accessibility: Keep work areas clear to help staff provide efficient service.
  • Follow Operational Guidelines: Use systems and equipment as instructed to avoid unnecessary wear or damage.
  • Fire Safety: Participate in fire drills, read safety notices, never block fire exits or tamper with equipment, and report any damaged smoke detectors or alarms immediately.
  • Winter Safety: Keep windows closed during extreme cold to prevent frozen pipes, report drafts or icy areas, wear proper footwear, and use handrails outside.

Our Housekeeping teams ensure that both common areas and, where applicable, individual units remain clean, safe, and welcoming. Services will vary depending on whether you reside in a Lodge or Apartment setting.

  • Daily Cleaning: Regular cleaning of common areas, dining rooms, hallways, public washrooms, laundry rooms.
  • Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly/ Annual Cleaning Projects: Scheduled cleaning projects within the Lodges, such as windows, storage spaces, carpet cleanings, etc.
  • Weekly Resident Unit Cleaning: Resident units are cleaned once per week, including bathroom, towels, main living and sleeping space, and bed linens.
  • Annual Resident Unit Deep Cleaning: Resident units are deep cleaned annually.
  • Trash Removal: Regular removal of waste and recycling in communal areas.
  • Daily and Weekly Cleaning: Regular cleaning of common areas, dining rooms, hallways, public washrooms, laundry rooms.
  • Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly/ Annual Cleaning Projects: Scheduled cleaning projects within the buildings, such as windows, storage spaces, carpet cleanings, etc.
  • Trash Removal: Regular removal of waste and recycling in communal areas.
  • Proper Waste Disposal: Use designated bins for waste and recycling.
  • Report Hazards: Notify your site office of spills, hazards, or maintenance needs.
  • Maintain Personal Space: Keep personal areas organized to allow the Housekeeping team to maintain common areas effectively.
