GEF Gives Back

GEF staff volunteered with WECAN Food Basket Society, helping prepare food orders to support access to nutritious, affordable food. Through our #EmployeeVolunteerProgram, we’re finding meaningful ways to #giveback. If your non-profit or charitable organization has volunteer opportunities, we’d love to lend a hand! Please contact Stephanie Martin at 780-733-7682.

GEF staff were proud to support Edmonton’s Food Bank with their holiday mail-out campaign. Through our Employee Volunteer Program, the team prepared bags that donors filled with food to help support families in need during the festive season. If your non-profit or charitable organization could use volunteer support, we’d love to help! Contact Stephanie Martin at 780-733-7682 to explore how we can get involved.

GEF staff and members of our executive team, including our CEO, volunteered at the Bissell Thrift Shop, sorting donations, stocking shelves, and refreshing the space. The shop supports Bissell Centre by providing essentials like clothing and hygiene items to those in need. We’re always looking for new ways to give back through our Employee Volunteer Program. If your non-profit or charity are in need of volunteer support – we’d love to connect! Please contact Stephanie Martin at 780-733-7682.

GEF Managers came together to support Edmonton’s Food Bank by helping to sort and pack food donation hampers – a rewarding way to give back through our Employee Volunteer Program. We’re proud to support such an essential community partner and look forward to more opportunities to make an impact together.

Through GEF’s Employee Volunteer Program, our team is finding meaningful ways to support the community. Earlier this year, staff members volunteered with United Way’s InKind Exchange, sorting and packaging kits filled with books and developmental toys for children in need. While the United Way InKind Exchange has since closed, the impact it made and the memories from volunteering remain. We’re proud to support United Way’s mission to create brighter futures for families across our region, and we look forward to discovering new options to make a difference together.

GEF has been incredibly fortunate to receive countless acts of generosity from the community. We’re eager to explore more ways to give back. If your non-profit or charitable organization has volunteer opportunities where our employees can help, please contact Stephanie Martin at 780-733-7682.
