For 65 years, the name of GEF Seniors Housing has been synonymous with vibrant, affordable communities for seniors in Edmonton. In 2024, Alberta’s largest non-profit social housing operator for seniors became a senior itself! As we enter our Golden Years, we join with our community in:

- REFLECTING on our journey, achievements, and contributions to society.
- EMBRACING new opportunities, ENJOYING newfound freedoms, and ENGAGING in activities that bring fulfillment and joy.
Vibrant Community Mosaic
Meet some of the individuals who contributed to GEF Seniors Housing’s 65th Anniversary Mosaic Art Project. Thanks to GEF staff and artists who collaborated with residents and tenants from across our 41 communities to create the final artwork named “Vibrant Community”! Mosaic Unveiled – Oct 1, 2024
The completed mosaic was unveiled at an intimate function on October 1, the International Day of Older Persons.
